Promishlennya Arkitektura (Промышленная Архитектура) – Tochki (Instruktor)
This is Tochki (Instruktor) (Точки (Инструктор), which means something like DotsInstructor) by Russian post-punk/industrial/avant-band Industrial Architecture (Промышленная Архитектура). The song featured here was the opening track of their only album, Love And Technology, released in 1988. Formed in late 1988 by Dmitri Selivanov, a former member of legendary punk band Grazhdanskaya Oborona. He commited suicide by hanging himself with a scarf in April 1989, shortly after the release of this cassette. The band only released this album, featuring Soviet-era drum machines and weird sounding keyboards. This is a part of my series on underground rock in the Soviet Union. I’m uploading a lot of music from this period so please keep watching!
